Origin Tattoo opened its doors in 2019, situated on a cobbled London street – only a short walk from London Bridge station.

With an open lounge area and friendly staff, all customers and visitors are welcomed. Origin Tattoo is proud to be a home from home to many, our artists are always open to hearing your tattoo ideas and concepts, big and small.

Our Vision

Origin Tattoo was born from a long friendship between Nichlas Hald and Matt Stopps who both shared a mutual vision. Both being Tattoo Artists in London since 2012, they wanted to create a space which challenged the traditional London tattoo studio. They felt that a person’s decision to have a high quality tattoo should be matched with a high end environment with exceptional service, delivered in a fun and welcoming atmosphere free from intimidation. Combining these ideas, Origin Tattoo Studio came to life.

With an amazing team of experienced tattoo artists, Origin offers a wide range of tattoo styles: fine line, traditional black and grey, realism, colour traditional and geometric. Each artist has a unique style, coupled with refined technique. Any design idea or concept is welcomed and we are always happy to discuss your idea with a free in house consultation.
