I worked in different studios around London as an assistant, manager and piercer prior to joining Origin. I first started as the social media manager and studio co-ordinator until I gained an apprenticeship as a Tattoo Artist which I have never looked back on.

Since joining the team I have been able to expand my tattoo knowledge. I feel like I have been given an insight into drawing and all aspects of how the industry really works.

I like to draw as much as possible in my spare time, specifically in an American Traditional or fine line Chicano style. I also enjoy learning about the culture and traditions of tattooing, studying the work of artists, both current and throughout history.

I love working at Origin because of the variety of work I get to see every day, everyone approaches the craft differently so there is a range of advice, ideas and experiences to soak up.

My ultimate goal is to understand the industry to the best of my ability and become a versatile and knowledgeable artist myself, by watching, listening and learning from my colleagues. I’m currently challenging myself to learn how to draw freehand script and improve on spit shade painting.

When I’m not working or drawing I’m usually watching Rupaul’s Drag Race, drinking cocktails in Soho or escaping to my home town in the Yorkshire countryside to visit my dogs.
